Chris

Chris, a Western NY native with a Mathematics degree from Fredonia, moved to Tampa, FL in 2012 to pursue his career. He was a team lead for six years in IT Support before becoming a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer. Three years ago, Chris helped found Smart Volt Solutions & Solar, driven by a passion for Customer Success. He is committed to ensuring fair treatment, honest feedback, and exemplary customer satisfaction for all clients.

Chris enjoys cooking, following a family tradition of creating and adapting recipes. He loves watching sports and is an avid hockey enthusiast, finding joy in following his favorite teams.

Robert

Robert Hamilton, the COO and Trainer at Smart Volt Solar, has seven years of experience in the solar industry. Inspired by installing solar panels on his own home, he shifted from a 20-year career in healthcare management to focusing full-time on solar energy. Robert is dedicated to helping homeowners in 30 states go solar and enjoys teaching others about solar technology, battery backups, and proposal building.

Robert grew up in West Virginia and has lived in Florida for 26 years, 22 of them in Tampa Bay. He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has studied at WVU, FSU, Chatham University, and USF. Outside of work, Robert loves spending time with his wife of 15 years and their three children, and he has a passion for building PCs.

Corey

Corey, a Central Florida native, transitioned to the solar industry after experiencing the benefits of solar panels on his own home. Inspired by this, he left his 20-year IT career to focus on solar energy. Since early 2024, Corey has been the Chief Business Development Officer at Smart Volt Solar, focusing on the company’s long-term strategic vision through market partnerships. He excels at building strong relationships with homeowners and industry vendors.

Outside of work, Corey enjoys working on his house, spending time with his children, and learning new topics through audiobooks and YouTube. He believes that “a rising tide lifts all ships” and is passionate about sharing knowledge through mentorship and training.

Drew

Drew is an enthusiastic Energy Consultant and Sales Director dedicated to helping homeowners achieve cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions. With years of industry experience, he specializes in crafting custom solutions tailored to meet specific home improvement needs, ensuring clients can optimize their energy use and savings.

Outside of work, Drew is passionate about music. He produces and DJs at various events with the same energy and creativity he brings to his work. Drew also enjoys attending live music performances for inspiration. A former college soccer player, Drew is a fervent sports enthusiast who loves game nights and cheering for his favorite teams. Whether in sports or energy, Drew is always driven to bring out the best in every situation.
